It's really a international melting pot with people from all parts of the world showing up.
I've always enjoyed seeing where other people live and what their surroundings are like.
For me, it's here.

If your ever told that you have a short time to live come to Bremerton.
Where everyday is a "eternity".
Yeah life is "slow" here.

hey slo, nice idea!

i see your town has similar population figure than the city i live...

...look here:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lahr

We live and work here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Copenhagen_Airport :airplane:
Maybe its a little mis info, the Copenhagen Airport is placed in Tårnby/Kastrup, 10 minutes in car to Copenhagen.

We live close to the bridge to Sweden (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oresund_Bridge), where we can be in Malmö in 15 minutes...yes, in our Volvo, of course ;)

You live in a very beautiful part of Germany. With the Black Forest right outside our door and a river going through town too.
Pretty nice looking place.

Why do I say hello to a Russian in Russian?
It was a Russian guy who made me feel welcome there and I haven't forgotten it. I do it out of respect.

As for how it got it's name?
I have no idea.

I assume you don't hang-out at the airport in your free time so I researched Copenhagen to get an idea of what is available to do around there.
I see plenty of sports listed. Good
Nice big harbor. I like lots of water around.

Hey man, I didn't know Victor Borge was from there. He was a class act.

Nice place you live in Pelle.

@ Henry
Vienna... Founded in around 500 BC.
Now there's a city with a lot of history!
I think it's one of the most beautiful cities in Europe.
Nice place to call home Henry.

yes 500BC is written in the english version, but i would take this with a grain of salt :wink1
in the german version is nothing about this. yes in different districts they have found different remains from different settlements, but nobody can say wich of them was the beginning.

you are right. vienna is a beautiful city. it remind me of dresden. there are many places to relaxe or to have fun.
For Example:
Donauinsel english (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donauinsel)
Donauinsel deutsch (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donauinsel)
Donauauen english (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danube-Auen_National_Park)
Donauauen deutsch (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donauauen)
Prater english (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prater)
Würstelprater english (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wurstelprater)
Prater deutsch (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wiener_Prater)
there is also a very good bike path network.
and here are living many people from all over the world.
