Empty Russian Drunk Driving-server [Archive]

Since the provisional GTL-lobby is back online i´ve been on Russian Drunk Driving-server several times.
Unfortunately it was almost always emtpy :tears
I remember the times when you couldn´t join the server because it was often full.
Where are all these guys now :confused:
Racing alone is not very exciting...

I hope that the guys will return bit by bit and the Russian Drunk Driving-server will be enlivened.

my online time is very limited. most of the others too. and don't forget it's vacation time.:)

Yes, it's time to race "at home" again :)

Tonight there was quite a lot of people racing :clap: And Cosworth thaught us how to drive ...

I can't even get into the lobby.:mad:

Must have a file missing or something. I really don't want to do another uninstall/re-install.

I'll wait for my computer buddy to stop by and figure it out.

I hope to be racing in about 2 more weeks.

Thanks Henry, I'll point this out to my friend. :)
I can't even find a file listed..... c\Windows\Systems32\Drivers\ect
In fact I can't find anything containing...... 127.0.0.1 www.gtl-server.net
As you well know I have little - to no patience when it comes to computers.:(
I am afraid if I get to frustrated, GTL will end up in my "been there - done that" box.
So I will let my friend make the fix.
In the mean time, I'm driving GTR2 (Novice) of course.

I have just seen after in Windows 7 & Vista which is the same:
c\Windows\System32\Drivers\ect\hosts - Open 'hosts' with Notepad
...but in my Xp is no 'hosts' file?...only one 'lmhosts.sam' file, perhaps this is here the problem occurs :confused:

...but this summer has really spent all the energy of new job, house (interior/exterior) & not least the time that was returned to family ;)
I try anyway everything I can to have the Forum up to date, but fortunately Henry is a great help in here & to put some race underway :clap:

Ya things look a little slow but it seems 2 be getting better. Had eight guys in Russian today but alot were nooobs. Just happy 2 be a part of this think we call Russian Drunk Driving.
