ok i know some things aren't 100% correct, because i want to keep it simple. it should show only the direction.
and coast<>power should be different if i understand the theory. i tested it with the GT40 and it should be correct: high coast >> oversteering

Thanks, Henry I think this is very good that there is a discussion about setups here. I hope it will help beginners to set ups their car or make already good setups even beter . It was very confusing for me when I started to learn those things.

Now I will defend myself little bit too :

    1. Differential lock set the level where/when the differential will slip. The higer the setting, the less slip you get (the more "locked" the differential is) - not other way around.

    2. The coast diff can help to stabilize the car when braking into corners. So - the higer the setting, the more stable (more understeery) the car will be

but only on exit, not turn in. thats what i mean with simple. i write only the turn in. but i will change it to a more exactly version.

    hmm ...

Two quotes from the article that Pelle posted:

    1) " ... Only this time its (coast) taking place when the car is no longer under power, but decelerating and coasting into the corner entry ... "

On exit the car is accelerating and coast has no work to do anymore

    2) " ... Again, too much lock (coast) diminishes the car's ability to pivot on the inside rear wheel and the car understeers (is tight) at the corner entry ... "

"At the corner entry" means the same thing that "turn in"

Henry, if I somhow insulted you, I apologize - that wasn't my purpose at all

When I started to play GT Legends I had a big problem to find some guides for setting up the car. There is acutally very few guides that are meant for GT Legends only. I have been studing setting up a car pretty long time already, but still there is a lot of things I don't understand. That's why I was so glad to discover a thread on our webside where people are disccussing setups. I was hoping that will help me to learn more about setups and get some good advice -and it did.

    With the best of intentions
