    A 1954 Mercedes W196 has sold for a world record auction price of 17.5m at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
    The W196 took Juan Manuel Fangio to the second of his five world championships.

    I have been a fan for more years than I care to remember. His untimely death came as a total shock to me (didn't actually know how old he was). I have all his CD's and some live DVD's but for me his best work was his earlier stuff so his first four or five albums are essential listening if you need to know more about his craft than just Cocaine and After Midnight. Ironic I suppose that someone sooo laid back should die from a heart problem. RIP JJ your music will live on.
