Default Who is Ready for Testing?

Now it must be time to test Grand Prix Legends
If you still have not installed GPL, there is help in this post

GPL is completely free & requires just little time to download, so I hope many of you will be with & test at Watkins Glen.

    Default First GPL Test

First test of GPL in Vroc went really well
Unfortunately we were only 2 drivers from GTLDK at Monza.
After much work by Navin, we got tested GPL with the GPL Installer & It made me discover some things I had forgotten in the instructions

NRJ chose Lotus ...& I would down at my Eagle
...which ended with a little help from me in Curva Grande & NRJ choose maybe Eagle next time, SRY

Yes, that was great Pelle! After much work and Pelle's invaluable help I was able to finally play GPL again! Probably been close to 8 years since I've played this game, but as soon as we started playing the memories started flooding in. Amazingly, I even remembered how to reset a crashed car(Shift+R). Funny how a brain cell that hasn't been used for 8 years still worked I still need to get my Force Feedback up and running but after playing old school with non FF it will be well worth all the effort. I sure hope a few more will be willing to give this old girl a try. Still the toughest but maybe the most rewarding SimGame out there.

I must say it surprised me that NRJ could remember everything that I had forgotten
...but I cheated a little: I started my old XP up & here works Microsoft software (SideWinder) on my steering wheel, here I found quickly the button with Shift-R

When running online with GPL, it is a rule that is used - Pit Out & Pit In (PO & PI), unfortunate I use the buttons on the steering wheel different in GTL with gears, this resulted in I depressed PO when I would shift gears

If you're going to run an opponent of the track...writing always: Sorry or Sry & you will almost see the answer back: NP (No Problem)
Chat in race: Enter, Thx NRJ...but I could remember: ALT + F...framerates

Here is one thing NRJ had forgotten: ...with the result that there was this:
False start requiring a pit & stop at the blackboard in your pit box. When your name appears on the board: STOP...until the board disappears. It is difficult but it works (everything is hard in GPL) or perhaps it is easier practice offline. If you run too far, board disappears & you can't use reverse to get it back, run a lap more & try again
