    Default C.A.R.S. - the new iRacing?

    Hi guys!

    There is a new Simulation in da House: "Community Assisted Racing Simulation" short: C.A.R.S.
    It's using a heavily modified shift2 engine and should have a good FFB. The payment starts very cheap.
    For 1x10 you get a monthly update
    For 1x25 you get a weekly update...
    Well check it out by yourself:
    http://www.wmdportal.com/projects/cars/

    It's still W.I.P.
    Content atm: http://www.wmdportal.com/projectnews...-on-with-cars/
    Bologna = Imola
    Connecticut = Watkins Glen
    there are F1 cars from '68, '77 and '86
    With one of the last updates, they implement AI, but there is still no online mode.
    But of course it's one of their targets, full online support with dedicated servers.

    How to join:

    How always, the time will be the limited factor. I think it's very interesting.

    Too bad good games like this & iRacing will be sold in this way, I refuse to buy games like this, just as I will not pay for TV broadcasting advertising

    I may have said it before: What would people say if Bill Gates sold Windows in the same way

    i guess you don't understand. you pay 10€ or 25€ or what ever, only one time. like you bought GT-Legends or GTR2.
    everybody gets the same game, but if you pay more, you get updates faster - one per week, if you paid 25€ or more. if you paid 10€ you get these updates only one time per month.
    that are the i called "customer prices", but you can also pay "investment prices" up to XXXXX€, where you get influence on the development and hopefully some day you get your money back and a part of the profit.

    They charge 10€ for WIP game (beta basically).
    Plus as far as I've heard this is Shift2 with different cars/tracks and minor adjustments to the physics.

    Hey guys!
    I joined the Project CARS.
    I'm sure it will be the best racing simulator. He is developing very actively, and in the right direction.
    Pack out all the time. I saw a lot of friends among the participants. The development team is very strong.
    All that I see, inspires hope for a great simulator.

    But it needs a username and password

    When I put a big picture 1920x1080 in your post, it becomes a little how to fix it?
